    I just purchased a new Paparone home! What should I do to prepare for the move?

    My home is located in a Homeowner's Association Community, who do I contact for that?

    At closing, you were given information on the homeowner's association including their contact information, by-laws, and rules and regulations. 

      I have a service request, what do I do?

      Please submit a service request form by clicking the link below. Someone will reach out to you within 2 business days. 

      If your service request involves plumbing, HVAC, or electrical systems and it is an emergency; please contact the subcontractor using the information provided to you prior to closing or located on your mechanical system.

      Maintenance FAQ's

      If I need to call for service, where do I find my appliance or system information?

      We suggest upon move in to download the list below to record information on the systems and appliances located in your new home. This will help keep track of the manufacturer, model and serial number to make calling in for service a breeze. Keep this list located in an easy to find location with the manuals and warranty information.  Your major mechanical systems, such as the HVAC, should also have a label to include a service provider's contact information. 

      I want to make sure my new home is well care for, what tips and suggestions do you have?

      We suggest doing seasonal maintenance to make sure that your home systems run smooth and your home lasts for years to come! Check out some of these tips and remember, if the manufacturer recommends something different, always go by the manufacturers manual. 

      How do I care for my floors?

      We recommend following any care instructions given by the flooring company to maintain your floors. We've included some DO's and DO NOT's when caring for your floors but manufacturer's instructions always come first. 

      How do I maintain my cabinets and countertops?
        How do I maintain my HVAC?

        Making sure you maintain and service your HVAC on a regular basis will benefit you in the long haul. Check out these helpful tips for your HVAC system. If the  manufacturers manual states something different, always go with the manufacturer recommendations first. 

        How do I care for my new lawn?

        Lawn care maintenance will vary between single family homes and townhomes. Click the appropriate link to see what care you should give. 

        How do I maintain the exterior of my home?

        If you live in a townhome community, refer to your by-laws in regards to the care of the exterior features of your home. 

          How do I maintain my plumbing?

          Before calling a plumber, review these tips and suggestions to see if your issue can be easily fixed. If you're experiencing a major water issue, call a plumber immediately and shut off your main water valve. 

          How do I maintain electrical systems?

          Warranty FAQ's

          Who is my home builder warranty provider and how long is my warranty good for?

          2-10 Home Warranty is the company that is used for your home warranty. New builders provide a 10-year home warranty coverage period which covers workmanship for one year, provides a two-year system, and a 10-year structural coverage.

            Who do I contact with a Home Warranty service request?

            To request service, log in to your Homeowner Portal account, select the system or appliance that needs service, answer a few questions, and we’ll dispatch an authorized Service Contractor to your home.

            Where can I view or download my home warranty?

            You can find your home warranty by logging into the Homeowner Portal and selecting the Download Service Agreement button on the home page. Your home warranty info becomes available 30 days after the effective date.

              I am a second owner of a Paparone home. What parts of the warranty are transferable to me?

              Our warranty is transferable. Please note the warranty term date is the settlement date for the original owner. You should obtain this information from the seller at the settlement so you are aware of what aspects of the warranty are still available to you after your settle

                What items am I responsible for in my home versus those maintained by Paparone Homes?

                As a homeowner, it is your responsibility to perform all care and maintenance tasks for your home. For detailed guidance on proper care and maintenance techniques for every area of your home, refer to our comprehensive Care and Maintenance Tips. Additionally, specific aspects of your home are covered separately under our limited warranty for 1, 2, and 10 years. You are also entitled to manufacturer’s warranties for certain items in your home.
